New Lynx Excite Campaign
This is brilliant, it could have been better. A cross-platform campaign targeting a specific demographic (the type of demographic who would be sucked in by the image above… not I) with a great creative proposition. While it’s strong offline, it could have taken on a life of its own online. Particularly on Facebook. One problem, the video is so slow to load I doubt whether even the...

Evolution of Social CRM
I’m a firm believer that if eCRM isn’t at the centre of your strategy, then you don’t have one. This is a great roundup of what social CRM means for brands and points to some brands who are doing things particularly well.

I'm A 'Social Meeja Consultant'
Absolute bollocks, that is not a job and if it is then all you do is regurgitate the same tired old crap. Like this.    I found this on @matt_muir’s Web Curious. It is brilliant. Also a nice rant from Matt this week.

Closing The Location Based Check-in Loop for... →
This a great way for location based services to close the CRM loop and be taken a little more seriously by marketers.  Given that Facebook Places (and the looming ‘Deals’ platform) is set to take off and blow competitors out of the water, I doubt we’ll see much take up of the WeReward platform amongst consumers in the UK. Maybe Facebook will look to add this as a feature in the...

Facebook Profile Intervention by Victoria Bitter
This is a fantastic use of flash video by Victoria Bitter for their ‘Profile Intervention’ campaign on Facebook. The premise? Choose your posiest mate on Facebook and bring them back down to earth by intervening in their bubble of self importance.  Mad props to their agency Droga5 for letting the idea lead the tech in such a sublime manner.

Grow a Moustache. Help Save Lives.
Men of agency land, your time to shine has come.  Movember is a campaign that has been gathering steady pace over the past few years and this year I thought (as I’m halfway there anyhow) I may as well go the whole hog with the ‘tache to do my bit for The Prostrate Cancer Charity and Everyman. You can support me here. Here’s a bit of inspiration for you:

The Rise Of Facebook Mobile (Infographic) →
Great post from the guys over at Digital Buzz. As well as Facebook App and custom pages accessibility it also made me think about how Facebook will monetize this and serve ads on the handset. Location specific perhaps?
